TRS is COBAT concessionaire for the collection, transport and delivery of exhausted lead batteries. The Compulsory Consortium for spent lead batteries and lead waste is a no-profit organization and was established in November 1988.

TRS, as a COBAT concessionaire, ensures the collection, transport and dispatch of exhausted lead batteries to specific consortium plants that guarantee the recovery of metallic lead and sulfuric acid. Today it is possible to reuse almost all the elements that make up lead-acid batteries, thus avoiding the dispersion into the environment of elements that are extremely dangerous for the balance of the ecosystem.
